Flying into Seattle
This was really my first time spending time in Washington and I’m very impressed. Every where I traveled in the state was very green/beautiful and the weather mostly was great.
Our first adventure [my mom and I] was renting a car and finding our way to Poulsbo, about an 1 1/2 away from the airport. We ventured on over to this little town to go visit a Great Dane Puppy that I’m purchasing from a Breeder. We stayed to bottle feed and played for about an hour and then headed to the BC Ferry pier at Bainbridge which for $14.00 got us and our car over to Seattle in about 40 minutes! And it was fun to take the Ferry.
We stayed at the Crown Hotel on 6th street, I recommend it…very luxurious, the beds were amazing! After settling in we headed over to this Piano Bar over on Queen Anne Ave called Chop Sticks.
My new Great Dane Puppy
It was 80’s night, too bad we didn’t know…I could have brought my hot pink spandex and crimped my hair. They had $3.00 drinks all night and the dueling piano players were very entertaining!
We walked over to the Space Needle after that which was open till 11pm. It was quite a sight being up there, but I wish we would have visited during the day as well. Apparently they have day/night passes so you can go twice.
