Since we only were spending 2 days in Saigon, we decided that it would be best to take organized tours. We ended up meeting a man on the street who takes peope around on tours for a standard fee per person. Sincewe only had two full days in Vietnam, we thought that taking a private tour would be more benefical to us. In the end, we ended up paying $25 per person to have our own personal driver and guide. We also had to pay for our admission into the places we visited, but they were so cheap it really didn't matter at that point!
For our first stop, we went to visit the Cu Chi tunnels ($4USD? I can't remember!).
While you are there, they also give you and opportunity to fire some weapons. My fiance and I choose to fire AK-47's. The bullets cost you $1USD a piece and you HAVE to buy 10 (they come on a little clip). So it's a little steep but I really wanted to do it and sometimes you have to pay the price for what you want!
I don't want to give away too much, but I definitely recommend going to visit the Cu Chi tunnels. I don't think I realized how amazing those tunnels were until I actually went to see them!
