Woke up early, checked out, and checkin at the Puerto Pension, where we also inquired for an affordable way to go to Sabang Underground River.
Caught a tricycle to the bus terminal. Found a shared van that was headed to Sabang.
From Sabang, we paid our fees, turned out we had to register in Puerto Princess for our visit as they are limiting the number of people who can visit the underground river per day to minimize damage on the ecosystem. But since it was a weekday and not a holiday week, there weren't much people and we were able to go!
Since I was Filipino (I spoke Tagalog to the staff), they charged me the local fee, while my friends got charged the tourist fee. Yay~!
They got us a boat, a banca', and off we go! The water is unbelievably clear. The boulder of rocks and cliffs were magnificent!
And 15 minutes into the ride, a small sandy beach lies a a small sign, "Underground River'. We were met with one of the guides, and escorted to the path where we get on the bancas after getting our life jackets and hard hats on.
We had dinner at Mang Inasal, a Filipino BBQ and Grill chain restaurant that serves awesome chicken & pork BBQ with unlimited rice!
After that, we walked around Baywalk and retired for the night.
