Arrived in Cebu early morning.
It started raining heavily. Our initial plan to go to a day trip to Bohol washed away with the rain. Now what to do?
We dropped out luggages of at a visitor's baggage drop off while we check out Cebu's Malls. There's not much to do outdoors when its raining so heavily. As we walk around the malls, Cathy called one of her friends who has family in Cebu - and voila! Instead of staying in a hotel, we were invited to stay in their home! By lunch, we ahve picked up our luggage and took a shower at the their house. Then we went to one of their malls where a Cebu Pacific Ticketing Office branch is located. We bought our plane tickets to Boracay, as well as Cathy's returning ticket from Boracay to Davao, while I bought a ticket from Boracay to Manila for another part of my trip.
We also had lunch at Jollibee. I had to eat in Jollibee every chance I get since it isn't just the same in NYC, you know. ^_^
Later on that day, as the night falls and the rain has stopped, we went to one of the nightlife area in Cebu. We barhopped until we met up with one of Cathy's friends who got out of work. Still in her scrubs, we hit another with a live band. One thing I love about Philippine bars is that it is so easy to hear a live band and most of all, no cover charge!
After a few shots and bottles of beers, we got home around 2am. I was exhausted. Took a shower before going to sleep, I woke up still reeking of alcohol.
Happy Birthday to me! I'm now 26!
