We woke up at dawn, eager to go to the White Sand Bar before the hot morning sun reaches its full height.
We skipped breakfast and rented a boat from Paras Beach Resort that will take us to the sand bar. Cost: PhP 450 ($9)
The White Sand Bar is located just 3 minutes from Paras Beach Resort. It is a strip of white sand that only surfaces during low tide. During high tide, only a small portion of the bar can be seen. Morning is the best time to visit this sand bar.
Took pictures and took a 30mins sunbathing session before heading back to Paras Beach Resort where we took a shower, had breakfast and eventually checked out.
Before leaving Camiguin, we stopped to by their famous delicacy, Pastel, soft, fragrant and sweet buns filled with the original yema (made mostly of milk, eggs and sugar) for presents! Yummy!
Another rush to catch the ferry, we took the RoRo back to Balingoan port to the bus terminal to catch the bus, arrived 2 hours later, took a jeepney to my friend's parents house, where we took a shower - again - and took the rest of our luggage, before renting their neighbor's jeepney to drive us to the bus stop, where we took another bus to take use to Cagayan de Oro, and took a taxi to ferry terminal.
We caught the ferry with no problems, and found out bunk bed, had dinner, walked around to check out the rest of the ship, before going back to our bunk beds, and slept. It was cold~! Thankfully, I had my own sweater on top of the blackets we had.
We arrived in Cebu by 7am... It was a very uneventful 10-hr ferry ride.
