While my in-laws visited us in Germany, we took them to many places. This happens to be one of the best places in the world. The mountains are beautiful the history is rich, and if you go, you will never forget it.

We did a lot of things during our short stay in Berchtesgaden.  I am always amazed by how much we do in such a short amount of time.  From the time we awoke this morning we were on the go.  On this day we visited a saltmine, the "Eagle's Nest", the Konigssee, and rested at one of the best Bed and Breakfasts in the country.

This place was absolutely fabulous. Great accomadations, great food, great hosts. Of all of our trips through Europe, this place was by far the best.
