This is the bicheno blow hole
The Bay of Fires was voted the best beach in the world last year, and it does not take you long to figure out why. unlike wineglass bay this is fine white sand the whole way, with clear water and high waves. there is not much to say about it, as it is only a beach after all. the only thing i was really suprised about is how big the waves can get. having never really been to the ocean for a long period of time the ocean really shows you how small and frail you are. the waves were easily 3-4 meters high and even when the surf only came up to my knees they are powerful enough to make your legs buckle from behind, it was a very surreal experience. though this one is not nearly as nice as the bay of fires i will see in a month from now on my road trip.

st. Columbia falls is a waterfall in a rain forest a couple hours west of bay of fires i think. not much to say here other then it was beautiful and me and Simon climbed out onto waterfall to get some great pictures, though he almost broke his ankle doing it, which was funny.

i will try and upload some pics to show you and make this entry worth it.
