Garibaldi's is a hip little place. We got there on a Friday night and there was a long wait. The restaurant isn't that big but we knew people and were seated straight away.
The atmosphere is very calm and soothing. Seems almost ritzy. Dim lights but candles on the tables.
We had two appetizers. An asparagus dish and a fried Calamari. The Calamari didn't have that overly fried and flasky feel to it. It was light and very tasty. The Asparagus had a neat oyster sauce that was very interesting and worked very well.
I had an alaskan Halibut meal and it was cooked very well. The food was presented well and tasted good.
We had a drink. They have a full bar and we had a summer breeze. It wasn't too heavy or to alcoholy. Very good overall.
The price is what you'd expect to pay for a nicer restaurant. Between two of us it cost $100 for our meal. Very nice for a romantic dinner or a special treat.
