Radio Stockholm, our local radio station, has provided us natives (and everyone else) a list of the top picnic places in town. The votes are in, and here are the top 5 favourites of those "in the know":
1. Vira bruk outside of Stockholm.
2. Lövhagen outside of Stockholm.
3. Hellasgården outside of Stockholm.
4. Djurgården, located right in the centre of town.
5. Hagaparken, in Solna outside of Stockholm.
You can go to these places by public transport, so all you have to do is pack a picnic basket and go!
