Geneva and Bern, thank God I speak both languages

The home of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva. Please, hire me!!

It's a very fascinating thing - you land in Geneva, and people won't speak anything but French. Then you get on a train and travel for two or so hours, get off the train - and now people won't speak anything but German. I talked to a Swiss woman on the train who told me that it was really hard to fall in love with someone who lived in another city in Switzerland, because you might not be able to go there and make yourself understood. Her boyfriend spoke German and she spoke French. I guess they used body language to speak to each other.. ;)

Lessons learned: The sightseeing boats on Lake Geneva are not available in December. The train to the Alps departs only once a day. The chocolate and the cheese is to die for. White wine is drunk in mysteriously small glasses and nobody can explain why.
