Day 3, Prague.
Today we can sleep in a little. The bus that will bring us to the castle will leave at 9am. Today we will have our first breakfast in the hotel. At 8am I am there and it is a buffet and quit good. There is enough room in the dining. We take our time at just at 9 we are at the bus. Now we meet our other travelers again and we heart that they had a flat tire on Saturday morning and they ask if we know anything about that. Why? Because we left that day very early to Olomouc. We told them that we really wouldn’t do such a thing. But the bus is making a strange noise and our driver can not tell what it is.
Just forget it. She parks the bus and we walk to the tour guide. She shows us the most beautiful place of Prague, the Castle, exchange of the guards and the nice narrow streets with the beautiful buildings. We also walk over the famous Charles Bridge with all the statues. Because we where not there on Saturday she will bring us to the old town. It wasn’t necessary, but a nice gesture of her. At the Astronomical clock she leaves and we continue on our own. The girls are leaving us immediately. They need to do some shopping.
A few of use did see a nice restaurant and we are all going there for diner. It is restaurant Cartouche. After diner we walked a little to find a nice bar celebrating our last evening in Prague. We found one close to the museum where we have to catch the tram later on. It is a nice bar and there are a lot of people there. Beer and other drinks are perfect.
When we are leaving the bar a few stay there to have some more fun. We take the tram to our hotel and after a little discussion we are again going to our favorite sports bar with to many lights on. We still have something to celebrate and the two girls paid our drinks. One had her birthday on Friday, and the other girl is married for 25 years the next day. Back in our hotel the “Die hards” from the other bar are already back. We need to go to sleep to, because the next day we need to be at the bus at 6:30 to start our journey back to the Netherlands.
