Today is our last day here in
We woke up around 7:00am, showered and went down for breakfast. I was still feeling a bit “tired” from the night out before, but after breakfast, started feeling a bit better. We planned to meet up with Camilla at her work to say a final good buy and see her daughter Sara who we haven’t seen in three years.
After breakfast, we went back up to our room to pack up and get ready to check out. After checking out, we stored our bags with the hotel, and then walked by Harry B James to get a few pictures from the outside since I forgot to do that when we were there last night. Then we made our way over to Östermalmstorgs saluhall, which is the large indoor market we had lunch at two days ago. We called Camilla and got directions to her work building, then met with her and her daughter for a short visit. After our final goodbyes with Camilla & Sara, we walked back to the market and walked around a bit, and bought a few goodies to bring with on the train. Since our cameras batteries died during our last lunch there, I also wanted to take a few more pictures of the inside and all the different food venders.
We then made our way back to the hotel to pick up our luggage, and then walked over to the train station. After buying tickets, we got something to eat, and then waited for our train. Finally, after a half hour delay, our train arrived and we were on our way to Gävle. It’s almost dark and much colder now. I’m sure taking any pictures of the beautiful snowy country side along the way will be next to impossible.
