Me & Lena at BWI before the flight.

We arrived at BWI airport around 6:15pm, a little less than 3 hours before the scheduled departure time of our British Airlines flight to London. There were not a lot of people at the check in counter, so we got our tickets and made it through security in about 10 minutes! We decided to get a bit to eat before we boarded the plane, even though we knew we would get dinner on the plane. There was only one place to eat on this side of security, so we ordered a small pizza, a beer for me and a glass of wine for Lena.

The time went by quickly, and before we knew it, it was time to board the plane, and we took off right on time! The plane was full, so there was no opportunity to change seats or have an empty seat next to us. We sat in the center row of the plane, me in the middle seat and Lena in an isle seat to my left. Dinner was ok, some kind of tortellini with cheese sauce, but we sure were glad we ate a little before we boarded! The nice thing about this flight is every seat had a touch screen TV screen in the backrest of the seat in front of them, and we could choose from many different movies and TV shows! After dinner and a movie, it was time to get a little sleep, or as much as we could.
