Our plane after we got on the bus.
The flight to London was smooth, but it seemed there were a lot of young kids on the plane which made it difficult to get a good nights sleep…of course the seats didn’t help either! Unfortunately, during the night, one of the passengers had some kind of medical emergency. Not good for the person with the medical condition, but good for the rest of us because there were delays in landing because of the snow & ice in London. All flights in and out of London were delayed about an hour, but our plane got priority to land over everyone else. Once on the ground and at the gate, the medics came aboard and took care of our sick passenger, and then the rest of us got off the plane and boarded busses to take us to the main terminal. We went through passport control and security, and then found our way to our departure gate for Stockholm.
We had about an hour before the now delayed boarding time of 11:20am, so Lena made her way to the Starbucks and got a snack for us to eat while we waited.
Starbucks inside Heathrow
Once boarding started, we found ourselves sitting in center seats on opposite sides of the isle. Luckily, the girl in the isle seat on Lena’s side said she would take the center seat so Lena could sit in the isle. The isle seat on my side was empty, so I moved over leaving extra room between me and the other passenger sitting by the window. This was only a 2 hour flight, but they still served what was suppose to be a cheese sandwich, but it was more like an onion sandwich with…I’m not sure what was on it!! Not good at all!!
Next stop, Stockholm, Sweden!!
