Today was a very laid back day for our group's standards. We woke up later than we should've and spent most of the day hanging out at the hostel. Our train for Paris was scheduled to leave in the evening so we had some spare time. Veronica, Krystie and I had some fish and chips for lunch and we grabbed some last minute souvenirs. We took the underground to the train station and then left for Paris around 7 pm. Krystie and I studied our French on the way and got all the key phrases down. We got into the station close to 10 and felt a little lost...everything was in French!!! It took us awhile to find the right metro. We eventually did and made it to our hotel safe, sound and tired. We have four rooms here...two for the girls, two for the guys..these rooms are a step above our hostel in London. Our rooms have their own bathrooms at least. We've got lots of steps again though!! A group of us had a late night meal of creamy mushroom chicken, french fries and salad at a Turkish owned restaurant and we called it a night...tomorrow will be our traditional "second day" of seeing all the sights at once! Bonswar!
