Coming into Texas on I-10

2007 was a big travel year.  I went on a cruise to Alaska, traveled to DC once again for job training, went to Houston, Texas for that job, met up with some friends in Kansas that I met at this new job, and visited a friend in Hawaii.  I knocked out what are usually considered the hardest states to get to: Alaska and Hawaii in a matter of six months!

Alaska (07/07) -- cruised the Inside Passage.  Alaska is an amazing state.

Louisiana (8/07) -- on my way to Houston, I stayed with my cousin in Bossier City overnight.  Saw the riverwalk in Shreveport.

Texas (09/07) -- I was in Houston for two weeks for a job and was miserable.   While I was there, I visited the beach at Galveston, and was severely disappinted.  I'm hoping to return to the Lone Star State and go to the Austin and San Antonio areas.

Kansas (11/07) -- All I can say noteably about Kansas is this is where I rode a mechanical bull.  We also walked around the town of Lawrence, near the University.

Hawaii (12/07) -- a beautiful state.  I visited the islands of Oahu, Hawaii and Kauai.
