Bangkok - Hanoi

Friday evening October 9th we caught the KLM night plane direct from Amsterdam to Bangkok. Arriving at Bangkok airport the next morning we had to wait a few hours for our ridiculous cheap connecting flight (AirAsia) to Hanoi, so we enjoyed the airport shops and had a taste of the gorgeous Thai cuisine.

The flight to Hanoi was comfortable. In Hanoi the first impression was the buzy traffic consisting mostly out of mopeds and other noisy motorised two-wheel vihicles. Challenge of the day: to get to our hotel in the old quarters. We cheated by taking a taxi which got us through the heavy traffic to our small well situated hotel.

congrats on the feature. Always cheat when necessary & get a taxi. Life is too short ot struggle when it isn't necessary...
