vegetation is back!
It was 3pm when we started going down, finally... a few hours ago you could see people going back and forward, but now everyone was tired and sleepy, hahaha. We all needed to take it easy and relax. The journey down wouldn't last long it would be a fast going down, well we weren't going back to sea level, but 4,100m sounded much better than almost 5,000, hehehe. I was almost falling asleep when they served lunch. I was feeling a bit funny, but was hungry too, so I decided to eat, hehe. Food was tasty. Actually that veggie souffle was one of the best I've ever tried, yummy! I was doing much better, but there were 4 people in my wagon who needed assistance. The nurse came with some oxygen and gave them and extra dose of coca tea. I had my coca tea when we arrived to the highest point, hehe.
We were getting back to civilization and we found a city - La Oroya. This is an important mine city and their most important way to transport the minerals is by train. La Oroya grew a lot recently, thanks to the mines. There you could see bigger houses and even some traffic... interesting. It's a narrow but sort of long town. It took us almost 1 hour to pass it. By the time we left it, we were already 3,700m high. Things feel much better at lower altitude :)
