My dad masters the art of jump photography on his first try.
My family came to EL for my graduation this weekend (although I am still in denial about the fact that it is actually happening...). We had a great time... walking around downtown East Lansing, savoring the many flavors of ice cream offered at the MSU dairy store, listening to the ridiculously corny speech I delivered at the College of Education commencement ceremony, taking pictures with all the trees in full bloom, and of course, hitting the bars one last time (Harper's... PT's... The Riv... WHAT WILL I DO WITHOUT YOU??)

While there were 8 extra sets of arms in town, I decided to take advantage and get a little help moving out of my house. Believe me, we needed all the help we could get... It's amazing how much junk accumulates when 5 girls share one house for a year (pin the tail on the donkey poster? mystery bike in the bushes? a garbage bag full of beer koozies? seriously.) Thanks to my lovely, muscular family, I got everything packed up and put into storage just before the sun set... just in time to do a few jumps off the front porch for old times sake.

This was my dad's first encounter with jump photography. Clearly, an amazing experience. Please note that the terrified look on his face is 100% genuine :)
