Hello again,

Just a very, very quick note to say hello to everyone. I'm just about out of
time at this internet cafe... but we have had a very relaxing past few days
here in Zanzibar. We started out in a little boat-making town called Nungwi
where we stayed for three days. Basically all we did was walk up and down
the beach (gorgeous by the way... crystal clear water and powder white
sand), and sleep in hammocks. We spent one day taking a dhow boat out to
Mnemba atoll to go snorkling, which was possibly my favorite moment of the
trip. I was diving down and swimming in the middle of schools of thousands
of fish. I couldn't believe it! Both my dad and I had a pretty nasty sunburn
to show for it later, but that's faded by now, so its okay :) We also took a
cultural tour, and our guide took us to his family's home where I held his
17 day old niece!!!

We are now in Stone Town, the culture is amazing, although it can be
difficult to make our way through the narrow streets sometimes with all the
street vendors trying to sell their crafts and clothing, shouting at us
"free to look, free to look, we'll give you goodie price!"

Tomorrow afternoon its back to Moshi, where I will start to get settled for
my teaching placement. I'm sure I'll be emailing again soon...

Miss you all, and thanks so much to all of those that have written us
emails, we love reading them, and are sorry we don't have time to write back
