I'll be spending the summer teaching English in Moshi, Tanzania (right at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro). Of course, while I'm out there, I'll be taking a few weeks to go on a Safari and take a dip or two in the Indian Ocean. How bout it!

Somewhere over the Sahara Desert...

So right now I am on the plane on my way to Africa. The plane smells like dirty feet. Actually, after all the traveling I've done in the past few days, the stench could very well be me at this point in time. I still can't believe that it takes another 8 hours from Netherlands to get to Tanzania. The world is such a big, big place, for sure. I can't wait to see it all.

Pretty much everyone is sleeping, but I can't. I'm watching some terrifying movie called The Last King of Scotland about a corrupt African government led by a bloodthirsty killer. Is this really the best thing to be watching right now? No. But I am. I wish it were daytime so I could see the Sahara Desert. I wish I had a window seat for that matter. I should really get some sleep, huh? Movie off.

I want to be in Africa already!
