So I finally made my way to bed this morning from the night before.  I'd say it was about 8am ish.  I fell asleep after Ida went to her room which means I slept from about 6:30 to 8:30 by the beach.  At the point I almost drowned in perspiration from the sun's heat.  I went to my bungalow and crashed hard.  Finally at about 11 I awoke and quickly packed my bag as I missed the check out time.  Ant and I took a cab to the port to catch our ship to Koh Tao.  We paid 100baht extra to take the speed catamaran which should have only taken an hour.  2.5 hours into the departure, I asked what the hell was going on.  They told us the cat was full so they put the rest of the people on the slow boat.  No remorse.  No money back.  So Thailand.  Finally we arrived at Koh Tao.  I can't tell you how excited Ant and I were to splurge on a nice room with A/C, two beds, etc.  Unfortunately every room on the island was already booked.  We spoke to our diving school, Ban's, that we needed a place and they graciouslly allowed us to sleep in their classroom.  There we were, after 6 nights of utter hell with regards to accommodation, sleeping on the floor of a classroom in Thailand.  Whatever,  no big deal.  We went out for a drink before dinner where we met two french girls.  Apparantly I have a magnet for two things.  Jewish People and French Girls as one of these girls were Jewish and both were from Paris.  They were waiting for two guys to join then for a drink but after hanging out with them for some time, when we told them we were heading for dinner, they decided to bail on the gents and roll with us.  So the four of us had a great dinner.  They make this amazing bbq here with giant shish kabobs of chicken, corn on the cob, potatos, etc.  After dinner I was exchausted so I made way to class and went to bed.  Sorry this entry was so short and lacked any creative pizazz but I am rushed and tired. MAUH.
