My Bungalow on The Beach
This morning was B R U T A L. 4 hours of agony before I could get out of bed. Mom, Dad, Michelle. Stop. It is what it is. Its Thailand and Im 21. At Heart. The three of us (although not in the same room) moved to the little shack/bungalows on the beach. SO MUCH BETTER. I sit on my porch and am at the water. I was not doing well so after a quick breakfest, I made my way to my rented chair under the very large umbrella. After 3 hours, I finally got up and made my way to the water. I sat down to the first spot that didn't have coral and was deep enough to get my body under. And, coicidentally next to the beautiful girl sitting alone. Name: Isabella. From: Ibiza. Look: Adiana Lima/Girl from Chris Isaak Music Video.
The Ibiza Beauty on the left...
Like, WOW. Again, just to clarify. Like seriously, WOW. We hung out in the water chatting for about 45 minutes and then I left to join the boys for a Kayak to Monkey Bay and and a snorkel. After about 20 minutes of against the current paddling, arrived. White, like bleaced paper sand inhabited this small little beach. Apparantely its name comes from all the monkeys that live there. My english friends were dissapointed as we didn't see any (whih is unusual) but I didn't really care to be honest. I saw my fix in South Africa last year. I know. Rough life. We snorkeled there for about 30 minutes and it was wonderful. Lots of tropical fish that I used to seeing in the pet store. Green parrot fish, black and white tangs, see urchins and cucumbers. It was very very cool. There was this one type of fish that was obviously very territorial as no other fish would be near this certain type. When you swam over his little rock, he'd bolt right at your face and scare you away. When a little fish comes sprinting at your face you kind of flinch and retreat back quickly. I wasn't really ready to see if he was all talk. Funny little fish. So tough. He was wearing an Ed Hardy t-shirt also. So yeah, thats about it. Went back to my hotel room by walking the fifteen steps, showered and made my way to the internet cafe they I am at now. The guy sitting next to me called me out on my accent, asked where I was from, and after saying Van told me he was from Edmonton. He's watching Edmonton Oilers highlights on the computer next to me and like really upset with what he's seeing. Shaking his head, pointing his finger at the screen. Quite humorous. Okay - I gotta go. I have to find the Spaniard. Or the Canadian. No, the Spaniard. Wait. Oh whatever. I have a feeling I am going to fall in love once a day for the next 60. My friend Anthony is making his way down from Chang Mai
which means he will be in the South within a week. He asked me where I was going to be. It could have been 2 weeks. I am going no where.
