Lanta Coral Beach
Next Island on our way was Koh Lanta as known from quiet and non tourist places.

We get there by boat from Koh Phi Phi (300 BHT). We made reservation of bungalow on the boat which was quite unreasonable, because our beach resort had a rocky beach. It was clean, quite cheap but finally we think we could choose better - normally it is good to make a choice on the place not on the boats. Beside when somebody need to find people for a stay there could be some catch - our catch - no sandy beach.
See my review.

Of course lac of possibility to having la lazy day forced us to go somewhere else i.e to the old city ( few old buildings and hammock house when you can buy a hammock and take a plan of the island). The roads on Koh Lanta are during renovations so sometimes a dust soar under the roads.

They wet them but after a while it is as it was before.

We took a scooter (300 BHT and 70 BHT FUEL for one day) - so it is very cheap and you can see all island in one day.
They have a lot of galleries where painters make paints for tourists - they are very interesting, modern art.
A lot of shops with cheap clothes. Bookshops with interesting books in any language, sometimes used ones, left by tourists, sometimes new one and postcards with unusual photos of Thailand.

We made a tour around TAT (this commercial ones) because we want to book a transport to Bangkok. We had option with train but it was more expensive and but shorter. (At 5 am in Bangkok - it wasn't good idea especially when hostels are open from 7 or 8 am).

We finally found a cheap transport by Phi Phi Familly Company.
Koh Lanta Streets
It wasn't good choice because the staff robbed the customers probably during bus change (our bus broke down in the middle of our return to Bangkok) when we had to move our baggage. They had to check every bag carefully because my friend hid deeply his watch in the bag and from my bag only few Euro cents were stolen. See my review about this company.

Thais give you sticks every time you take a part in some trips or take a journey by any transport. They have to know by sticker colour which option you had been chosen.
