Sun-god still loves me! :-)

What a beautiful sunny and warm day! It's the last day of November, and sadly it's my last full day in lovely Hong Kong! Sigh! Tomorrow morning I have to go home :'(
Well, ok, for today, no stress, no hectic, no experiments! Just going shopping, chilling out.
But before, I'm going to Nan Liang Garden near Diamond Hill shopping mall/MTR station. Chispa recommended this beautiful garden, so on my way to Citygate Outlet Mall in Tung Chung I decided to stop there.
To tell you a secret, I'm not that kind of traveller who is hiking on lonely paths for seven hours to see some ancient temple in the middle of the rain forrest. I'm kinda restless and impatient and as far as sights are concerned I have a pretty short attention span :-P
So Nan Liang Garden is the perfect sight-related place for me.
As you can see on one of the photos, Nan Lian Garden looks a little bit like a theme park. Wouldn't be a big surprise when Mickey, Donald and Goofy suddenly showed up there haha ;-)
Adjacent to the garden is Chi Lin Nunnery. Chi Lin Nunnery is a Bhuddist temple complex founded in 1934. It was rebuilt in the early 1990's using ancient construction technique, which makes use of special interlocking systems instead of nails to hold everything in place. Being the only building in Hong Kong constructed like this it is very unique. In one of the buildings in the garden they show some samples of that amazing ancient construction technique.
Anyway, this place is pretty nice and I could take some great photos there. According to the timestamp of my photos I stayed there for exactly 30 minutes before going back to Diamond Hill Mall, then taking the train towards Tung Chung.
Finally! Shopping! :-)
Never made it to Citygate Outlet Mall to do some shopping before. Ok, I went there for lunch during my last trip when I was going to the Big Bhudda with my friend Yoyo and her family. But no shopping there so far!
About shopping... I love shopping! I probably have too many girly-shopping-genes haha :-P
So I was really excited when I went to Hong Kong for the first time - everybody told me it's a shopping paradise, because everything it is so cheap there.
You know what - I can't totally agree with that! Ok, some things are cheaper.
If I go shopping for clothes at the outlet mall in Germany and order electronic gadgets at Amazon or eBay, I might go cheaper than buying in HK stores.
So unsurprisingly I didn't find so many good offers at the Citygate Outlet Mall, except for a nice hoody I found at the Quiksilver store :-)
Anyway, I also like window shopping, so no big deal about not buying stuff hehe :-P
A really cool thing is the food court there. Wow! Soooo many different types of food! :-)
I got me a really nice Taiwanese lunch there.
Later in the evening I meet Zoe for a last dinner at some chinese restaurant in Causeway Bay area.
Bye bye HK! I'll be back! Soon! :)
