Perfect conditions to go up to The Peak. Never been up there during day light. Should be perfect for shooting some nice pictures up there.
But first of all, I picked up my ferry tickets for tomorrow's Macau trip at Shun Tak centre in Sheung Wan.
Then, before going to Peak Tram station, I decided to visit the public floor in Bank of China building. You get a nice view of the harbour from up there. From there, it's just a few minutes walk to Peak Tram station. At around noon, there were quite many tourists waiting for a ride up the hill.
Expectedly, there were quite nice conditions for shooting nice photos on sky terrace. I really like this very unique view of HK island skyline! :-)
It was a little foggy, but still very nice.
After hanging out for about an hour, I went down and headed to Tsing Yi to check out the Lantau Link Visitor Center and view point, which is located near Tsing Ma bridge.
The amazing Tsing Ma bridge connects Tsing Yi and Lantau island.
Tip: Bring a map of the area. After getting out of MTR Tsing Yi station, I jumped into the next taxi to get to the view point, but the driver didn't speak english so well, and had no idea what I was talking about. Luckily, there were some nice ladies at the taxi stop, who offered to help and translated.
Finally, I got to the view point and enjoyed a nice view of Tsing Ma and Ting Kau bridges. Although pretty nice, this place is very lonely. Just a few people there. There's a mini bus going from there to Tsing Yi station every hour until 4:30pm, so be sure to go to the mini bus stop in time.
Later that day I met TB Phyllis, with whom I had dinner at some nice Thai restaurant in Lan Kwai Fong area.
Another well-spent day in Hong Kong! :-)
