One of the pigs that got roasted :)

Today two pigs got roasted by the pool. One is yours truly, the other had a speer up his behind. It was being prepared and pre-cooked for later this week. The resort really performs miracles when it comet to the food. Another great food service provided here is the mid afternoon snack. One of the chefs trolleys around a pan with paella or some other lovely dish. They even go to the beach with this, so don't be affraid to miss out on anthing if you decide not to enjoy the pool for a day.

Today was a bit like yesterday; not much happened. But as I said at the beginning of this blog, that was the compromise we made for this vacation. A few activities and excursions, and some lazy days by the pool or on the beach. Talking of which, apparently this resort is a wedding location too. Yesterday we watched wedding preparations taking place on the beach. What a marvellous location to get married. Although, I do think that only goes for the locals. I have read some stats somewhere, can't remember where, that said that couples who went on vacation with the purpose of getting married, had a higher devorce rate than those who stayed home and married localy. Good thing we got married in The Hague then :)

I wonder what the stats are for people who celebrate their anniversary abroad, because tomorrow my wife and I celebrate fifteen years of being 'partners in crime' :D
