okay the stories continue.. we got off the ferry and headed straight for our hotel called the edgewater.. walking into the lobby the place was classy! it was a cabin like feel with a chrsitmas tree and fire places. our room was equally good.. there was a fire place a cool little bear footstool. the shower was huge also! we were all hungry and ate at this restaurant called the stealhead diner.. melissa said this was a really good restaurant so we went.. it was really full so we sat at the counter by the open kitchen so we can see all the chefs and food coming out.. i ordered the salmon, so did melissa, sal ordered crab cakes and mussels..we also ordered mc and cheese! every food that came out looked deliscious and me and melissa was commenting on the food and how good it looked.. we got talking to the head chef and he was also explaining to us about each food.. we saw oysters which the chef said was the best in america according to food and wine magazine! so we ordered one for each of us. melissa had never had one before so it was great that she had the best.. then the chef recommend that we try the caviar pie! we said we already ordered too much! but he said that he cant let us leave without us trying out the caviar pie.. so he gave us some for free!! then our mac and cheese was ready.. the chef said to make sure it was hot and he added extra truffel oil on top!! everything was amazing and even though i was really full i had to finish everything.. we thanked the chef and took a picture with him.. we got our bill and he didnt charge us for half of our food!! he was really generous! it was the best dinner ive ever had!!
after the amazing diner we headed to the pike brewry place to meet up with the seattle tbs.. ana brad ryan and don. they were already drinking so sal caught up. hahah after a some great conversation me and melissa were really tired and into a heavy food coma so we decided to retire. the rest when to an irish pub.. i heard they had an amazing time.
