Plaza de Toros - bullfighting arena
After enjoying the amazing beaches and clubs in Fuengirola, a day in Málaga was just what I needed. Me and a friend of mine took the train from Fuengirola in the morning and arrived in Málaga at about 10:30 a.m. We intended to be really culturous and walk around the old town, but once we got there, the heat took over... We ended up walking a long way, before we realized that we missed nearly all big sights - fortunately the city centre isn't that enormous and the main road not too long :) We payed a visit to the Plaza de Toros which was interesting, but would've been even more so if there'd actuallt been a bullfight going on...
From there we walked up towards to old town, which is surrounded by an old brick wall - really beautiful and well taken care of with beautiful flowers and palmtrees! We continued to the Teatro Romano (not really like the ones in Rome butbut..) and from there we went to taste some traditional Tapas *yumm*
After some strolling down the historic centre of the town and a cup of Café con leche, we headed back to Fuengirola by bus - really warmly recommended, you see a whole different part of the city when travelling by bus :) It was a really fun day that ended with huge parties and a really early wake-up the morning after...
