Mykonos and More Jewelry!

The next morning we arrived in Mykonos and a glorious sunrise. We had a lovely breakfast in the main dining room - banana pancakes with turkey sausage and hash - mmmm.
We took the tender to Mykonos - very short wait - and just slowly explored the town. The first thing we noticed was that there were adorable cats everywhere! They were very well-behaved but almost seemed to be talking to you. One particular cat kept following me around and mewing at me - I was all flustered because I couldn't figure out what it wanted! We also saw the mascot pelican - quite large and according to rumor, not too friendly, so we stayed clear. It was still early so we took the opportunity to visit some of the local churches for pictures before starting to do some serious jewelry shopping.
When we were shopped out (and after a yummy baklava break), we found a restaurant along the water and had a lovely lunch - grilled seafood platter, greek salad, greek coffee and some wine. Everything was so fresh and delicious! Full and much poorer, we returned to the ship. My mom wanted to rest, but I opted to go to the wine bar (Celler Master) on board and try a wine tasting. It was really a nice experience. The sommelier was super knowledgeable and pleasant.
When iI returned, I watched Mamma Mia with my mom (terrible movie, but my mom enjoyed it). We then had dinner in the main dining room - saffron & shrimp risotto (good), osso bucco (not braised long enough), and a cheese plate (good). I again had the delish pinot noir and a really good espresso - served by literally the happiest waiter I've ever met in my life.
