Blisters and boredom

Jesjavre, Iesjavri, however you want to spell it, is the largest lake here in Finnmark. It covers about half the map, when using the regular mountain maps...
After a very good nights sleep on Joatka Fjellstue, we put our skis back on and set out for the next Fjellstue (mountain cabin), Mollesjok, 32 kilometers further east.
But the mountains here are pretty flat. And frozen lakes are - well - flat... HUGE frozen lakes seem even flatter... And flat is boring. Hour after hour after hour of just flat, boring, snowcovered lake. it seems endless. Especially with blisters on both heels ;)
After we'd finally crossed the lake, it was only a bit more than 6 kilometers to Mollesjok. I'm pretty sure I set a new record for this distance, I spent 2 hours and 20 minutes... All alone, all the others were a bit faster than me :p
Luckily I was only five minutes away when the search party set out to find me :D
And, being that late, the cabin was nice and warm when i finally arrived. There's always a bright side!
