after the adventure to the country side, we were dropped at the hotel victoria in down town where we were free to roam... i walked with a group of aussies to the anne frank house.. the one site i missed on my last tour...what a site..i was not too familiar with ther diary before...never read it.

after the house...we just cruised the city...walking around since it is a great city to explore on foot...the canals are lovely,....however everything is pricey...damn exchange erates...highlights include urinating in a public urinal...they are out doors, learning that the dutch are cheap...and eating mcdonalds.... ok, thats just for the day...
in the evening we went to dinner, some of us, out to the country side... i forget the town and restaurant...since i know no dutch...it was lovely to sit down with tour mates to chat...eat and drink...
being a veggie sucks in europe... but at least thez have goooooood cheese.

after dinner...we went back to the dam for an evening cruise...it was unlimited drinks and 90 min long....we took full advantage because paying for drinks here sucks...but the tour was great, i highlz recommend...to see the city from the water was great... we learned lots too...that most of the canals are man made, the city is mostly reclaimed land...and why the houses dance here....most are tilted and standing awkwardly albeit beautiful...also two random facts...whenyou move in a house all the stuff is moved in through the windows via a pulley...and xxx in the dam doesnt mean what you think....and lastly..their are elephants everywhere...not the real ones of course...
