After final goodbyes, and a final meal at my favorite nj eatery, On the border with my parents, i made it to ewr with hours to spare... it was the first time in years that I was disconnected from the world... no phone, email, etc... it was rather nice... just me, music, magazines... and thoughts.. rather groundless and liberating...

I flew virgin atlantic for the first time... it was a pleasant experience... had the row to myself with plenty of entertainment options at my seat, tv, games, etc... i decided to read some magazines... play some tetris and solataire.. and sleep too... the flight flew by...pun intended... we made it to lhr an hour early but the customs line took an hour... i passed the test and they let me in...

off to russell square via the piccadilly the exchange rate really sucks... better conserve money... the hotel is nice.. its the imperial hotel... i have a single room, which was unexpected... first stop was the pub... got some chips to hold me over until i meet up with nicholas for lunch in london....

now waiting for him to arrive
