Where is this place? - not even my girlfriend had ever been here - this was truly out in the middle of nowhere but everything has its charm. There is nothing like breaking new ground.
We were meeting my girlfriends uncle and aunt. It was quite fun getting there - first we had drive 60 km north of Tartu then when arriving there - no! You have to drive 20 km out of some country road then its there - no! You have to drive 5 km out of some even smaller roads and then finally. I had always wondered why the Estonian cars always were so dirty - I don't ask any more.
The further you get out on the country side the more you go back in time - it is absolutely not like some of our bigger cities in the "old" western world, where people now are leaving the big cities and buy themselves a house in the nature to bring up their kids. Everywhere you go you see these deserted houses where everybody just left. Its a pity there are so many nice places where people can't afford to stay.
