My second day in Rio de Janeiro was started very interesting for me. The weather was around 35'C (95'F) and according to my friend, it's just the end of spring (What the hell ?!? LoL :)) I left my friend's house in the neighborhood called Jacarepagua, and after a 45 mins travel, I arrived to Copacabana. Of course it will be a hard day and I need energy. So, we went to a juice house to have some Açaí. It was so great!
Then we headed to Cristo. Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) is one of the new seven wonders of the world. It's located on a hill called 'Corcovado'. You need to take the train to climb that hill, and it was a very nice road. You pass through inside a jungle and see so many tropical fruits, and animals such as small monkeys or ant-eaters. (I saw one on the top of the hill, but couldn't take a picture).
When you arrive the summit of Corcovado, you'll defintely love the vista there. It's just GREAT! Unbeliavable scenery! If you have a professional camera, you can take so many good picture in details. On this point, you can see Ipanema, Leblon, Copacabana, Maracana, Tijuca and of course the beautiful Pao de Acucar! I told you, you'll love it!!!
I don't wanna tell more about this experience, I thing the pictures tell a lot! I wish I have a better camera :(
