... Audubon Park, New Orleans ...

"The Crescent City" is the nickname of New Orleans.  The Mississippi River come together with the sea in this area by generating a shape like a crescent, and it's and interesting topography. The weather was so humid during our visit (end of March), but the athmospehere of the city was nice (especially the neighborhood we stayed, close to Tulane University).

First we settled the place (it was a fraternity house, lol :P) then take a tour around the neighborhood. Audubon Park is a very nice place to spend your afternoon and have some fresh air. Then we explored the campus of Tulane University before our dinner. After dinner, we took the streetcar and headed to the famous French Quarter and Bourbon Street. Our second night was similar, only difference was experiencing the famoues Cafe du Monde.

I need to say that, French Quarter was good for listening jazz music and chillin' out. Pretty relaxing. Also so many gift shops to buy souvenirs, and some tour companies which organize swamp tours. The famous hand-grenades are sold from take away bars (I know, a weird term, sorry :)) But, I need to say that there is a bad smell aroun the Bourbon Street.

I wish to see downtown New Orleans during daytime, but we couldn't have a chance to do that. Maybe later ...
