Alhambra
Arriving in Granada we went straight for Alhambra. I had been there some years ago and I just loved the place - it is culture, history and beauty in one wonderful mix. The girls had not been there before so I was some kind of guide for them.
It was actually quite funny that last time I was there it was in November and I was lucky enough to walk around in 25 degrees and when I now visit it again in May I have only 15 degrees and light rain.
As usual when you visit this place you are lucky to get in if you haven't booked tickets before. We were lucky and I was maybe a bit out of season. I november when I was there the last time I came very early in the morning and I had almost all Alhambra on my own - this was not the case this time.
When you walk around in this place and you try to picture how it would have looked like when it was newly build and everything were in bloom - it must have been absolutely amazing. This place is now between 700 - 900 year old and it still can turn your head around:-D
