this lady changed up her foods almost every day. GOOD stuff too

ok, in some stupid attempt to fill in blanks i TRIED to put PURSAT CAMBODIA before I posted my blog and not only would it REFUSE THAT saying no such place but it filled in some place in Pakistan, AND WIPED my blog clear.  Thank you very much. Nice setup.

Long story short, I got bored of Bangkok, rested up and forged ahead to Pursat town because a girl there would not leave my mind.  She got a friend to pick me up at  the border, and drive me to her door.  $50. Camry all to myself, good AC. handy stuff

Poipet was a bit irritating. Before I got off the bus (which by the way drops ya really close to the Thai/Cambodia border checkpoints...check out the bus 390 I think that leaves outta Swampipoomi :) my luggage had been strapped to SOMEONES handtruck/cart.

three years ago THIS would have been impossible to find, only a few places even had pictures you could point to (on soi 38 near the hostel) but NOW they ALL have this. Makes odering anything EASY. this stuff was good btw :)
I got it off then went looking around but really it's a mess there with only guys wanting to  haul your stuff for bux talking at you, NO real information.  Could not even get any idea where the checkpoints were from a Siam Commercial Bank there. People just kept pointing in some general direction. There SHOULD BE signage with arrows and such. But you know TIT. So finally I pick a guy and off we go go with him as my guide. Now, they run you thru several buildings/stops. One for some "disease control", another where you fill out a simple form and pay some bux. Then ANOTHER further along where they look at  your form etc, take a pic I guess and then stamp your visa n such. Well, for all this my luggage guy waited and at the end wanted $6. Hmmm, so it's not the ONE dollar I read about so often. Way too bugged by Poipet immigration experience to hassle with him. Paid him then went looking for Tourist Information and a way to meet up with my driver.
