Blair's Inn is a true countryside restaurant just minutes away from the popular attractions in Blarney (Blarney Castle, the Blarney Stone). It is renowned for its gardens which provide seating for over one hundred people.

This restaurant has won several awards, including Les Routiers Pub Hosts of the Year (Ireland) Award 2003, Les Routiers Dining Pub of the Year (Ireland) Award 2002, Irish Pub Guide.com Dining Pub of the Year Award 2004 and was runner-up in the 1999 All Ireland Seafood Pub of the Year, sponsored Bord Iascaigh Mhara.

In addition, Blairs Inn is, winner of the Licensing World, Pub Lunch Award, included in Diana Henry's The Gastro Pub Cookbook and Guide to the Best 150 dining Pubs in Britain and Ireland, winner of a James Joyce Pub Award, and is independently assessed and recommended by Fodor's Ireland Guide 2004, Georgina Campbell's Jameson Guide to Fine Dining in Ireland 2004, Les Routiers 2004 and The Guide to Hidden Ireland 2004.

In August 2001 Blair's Inn was included in The Sunday Tribune's Guide, Ireland's Top 100 Pubs.

Awards aside, this restaurant is a magnificent place to eat, particularly when you visit the Blarney area. Their main courses are traditional Irish dishes, and will suit most tastes. There are vegetarian options available. The main restaurant is quite expensive, with most main courses costing in the region of 25 Euro. However, an evening bar menu is also available, and the prices on this are much more reasonable, and vegetarian options are also available on this menu. Main courses on the bar menu range from 11 to 17 Euro.

Curious - do they have a lunch menu as well that may be cheaper? I will be spending 2 days in Cork and don't want my wallet to get a hole in it while I am there. :)
