paintings on the walls of the havelis

I have a personal driver through the whole trip, but tht doesnt mean it is fun going by car for hours and hours. the plus thing is that you do get to see alot on the way. stop at cosy chaiplaces, even though you get stared at the most of the time. the first stop was in mandawa only because the drive from delhi to bikaner is t long in one go. but ín mandawa i got a guided tour and got to see al the havelis and this beautiful small town. the people is friendly and the hotel was really nice. i had a great guide that spend a couple of hours with me. on the havelis are nice paintings of gods and elefants. and i got to see the sunset on the roof tops. i only spend one night their and hen it was of to bikaner. in bikaner i went to the jungarhah fort. it was big and you could walk around for hours, it has an audioguide wich is pretty good, even though you may not remember everything. i also visited a miniatyr paintshop and a factory/shops for saris and other things. yu alwyas get welcomed in and offered a cup of chai while they explain their job and culture. sometimes the over friendliness ca be too much but you just have to get used to it. In the end of the day i visited the rattemple that is a little bit outside the town. not as bad as it seems i thought it was going to be more rats then it was.
