Goodbye Sunshine, Hello Rain

Goodbye sunshine, Hello rain..!

Today we woke up so we could see something of the surroundings. And since we didn’t know it was 8 or 9am we woke up and got some food. We took the taxi to the bus stations. We just didn’t know where to go; Agios Nikolaos or Heraklion?
We chose for Agios Nikolaos because that is shorter then Heraklion, but we had to wait 45 minutes till the bus arrives.
The bus was overloaded so first we sit down where the door is as well, but after we had to walk to the end and sit between all the people. 25 minutes later we arrived in Agios Nikolaos. There were just a few things to see but it was raining the whole time. We went to a restaurant where they had such a terrible food but we had to sit down here, it started to thunder!  Since it did not stop we decided to walk further to the city centre but it’s a bit like Malia, very touristic. And touristic in combination with rain and thunder was not great, so we decided to go back home.
It started to rain harder and harder! So we run to a café and got a taxi back to the hotel.

A bit boring start of the holiday!!
