And in the end...

We wake up much to early, get dressed and have breakfast.
Packing is done in a minute, and after checking out we are in the bus, ready to go to the last museum of this trip: Tate Britain.
It is raining again... and are driving through London. It is extremely quiet on the road and we are much to early at Tate's. (So we have another tour around the Thames)
We have to cross the street (there is a big pool of water, look at the splash the bus makes) to get to the entrance. When the museum opens the revolving door shows a poster with a very important artist and the function of the door.
Tate Britain is huge. I start of in a hall with renaissance paintings. (I like those) I am especially impressed by the painting of Lucrezia Borgia in the pope's chair (Unbelievable she got away with that:).
Tate's most important artist is Turner. They have a wing only for him, and at this moment a special exhibition on him and contemporates. I don't like his later works -art is in the eye of the beholder- but his early work shows he can paint ^>^
But even the nicest visits come to an end, and we get into the bus and leave first for Calais (duh) eat just after Gent and arrive in Tiel by 20:30h, just in time to get home early and post my first blog:)
Yes, we will go again (when given the opportunity) to wherever the cultural trip may lead us!
