We're in France

We saw the Dalzells today for the first time. That tells you how big this ship is – 2600 passengers and 1100 crew. Crazy! Anyway, Joyce saw us first and invited us to join them for breakfast, which we did. They had a great time in Tuscany before joining the cruise. Cannes is another port where we've been before, so again we did our own walking around. They had a cute little Christmas market just outside the port area. Lots of booths selling all kinds of things, little rides for the kids, Christmas decorations, etc. That was fun to walk through, looking at everything. I keep trying to find something special to get Bradi for her 13th birthday (which is Sunday), but we can't ever find anything. We walked around the theater again where they have the Cannes Film Festival and looked at all the handprints of the stars that are in tiles around the building. Also looked at some of the pictures of property in the windows of real estate offices. This is really a pricey place! But not just real estate – clothing, jewelry, cars, everything. While we were on land, they decorated the ship for Christmas. Everything looks so nice! Lots of different Christmas trees all around, lighted garlands draped along the stairways. Traveling at this time of the year (if you can get ready for Christmas beforehand) is pretty nice. Everywhere you go, there are so many Christmas decorations, and the ship looks so beautiful.
