Nice Neighborhood Park
Dewey W. Strong Park, named for the Brighton co-founder is one of the newest parks in Brighton. It is a multi use park focusing on youth sports. On site are a little league size baseball diamond and a soccer field with goals.
It is a beautiful open space park, with lots of grass and room to play with the dog or fly a kite. Winding it’s way around the park is a paved trail, suitable for walkers, runner, bikers, boarders, or skaters.
For those with a family reunion in mind, the park has a covered picnic area and a Bar BQ grill.
This is a nice neighborhood style park, that is usually not crowded, and works great for family activities. Scooter likes the trees and open space. Scooter wishes it was in his neighborhood, so Scooter could go more often.
