The Pearl of the Adriatic

Named by Lord Byron as "the pearl of the Adriatic". Lets walk the ancient city, and watch the main atractions: Starting from the Pile Gate move on to the Franciscan Monastery and then on to the "Placa". At the end, turn right to the Jesuit Monastery. Walk thru Ispod Mira to Fort St. John, before walking back to see the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin, Rector Palace, Sr. Blaise Church and the Sponza Palace. Finish the day with a visit to the Dominican Monastery, the Ploce Gate and the city walls.
