Well since I live in Cork it's probably about time I posted some about it! To be honest I've never really paid much attention to the attractions in my own country, preferring to travel abroad. But it's about time I found out more about where I live, and see what all the fuss about Ireland really is :) If I dig up any funny photos from my childhood then I'll put them in here too :)

Harbour View with Bud!

This evening I picked up my girlfriend's dog, Bud, and drove down to Kilbrittain, not far from Bandon in West Cork. The beach on Kilbrittain, called Harbour View, is one of Cork's finest beaches, and is extremely vast, making it a very nice place to go for a walk, especially with a dog!

The tide was just after going back out when we got there so the place was quite wet, and I wasn't exactly dressed for messing around with mucky sand! That said it was a very nice walk, and Bud still managed to get me to race him a few times! We wandered through the rocks to the side of the beach, and Bud took it upon himself to chase down some seagulls, which was highly entertaining!
