Sun, Sand, Coast

Was a good but long day today. I went up 90 mile beach and rode sand dune, it was good fun but I wasn’t in any shape to try that slope again. Then we were driven up to Cape Reinga, which was a beautiful cape at the top of North Island. Also went into the Kauri forest and saw some very old trees, although we didn’t see the largest one (that was in another forest).

We got back to Paihia at about 6pm so I’m just getting ready for the horse ride and tomorrow’s departure back to Auckland.
