Brisbane to Wellington

Wellington is spectacular from the plane. I'll be touring madly over the next few days :)

Already I've encountered very helpful people, so its turning out okay.

I'm going to have to repack this bag of mine, as I'm still feeling the strain on my shoulders. Though a portable masseuse would be nice - anyone want to come over and join me?

Customs and the flight were easy, and I had no hassle. The airport dogs are so cute :) Though I shouldn't get too close to them - remember BJD2 anyone? Also for anyone who wears glasses - mine was backed in the day bag so I was squinting and trying to find the symbols for the information center and phone. Some must have thought I was crazy - the lift right in front of my nose.

The hostel I'm staying at is okay, though the girls at reception are very nice. I can't wait to see the other hostels as I go around and start to compare.

All in all, not a bad 1st day for my 1st trip overseas. :)
