Wippeeee! Can't believe we are all together again...these are my bestfriends

Two-three hours drive from Manila; Villa Escudero seems like a perfect place to have a reunion with my best friends.  Driving along the highway and listening to our fav music, brings back good memories of my high-school life.  Though this was not an all girls outing, we had to tag along our lovable hubbies with us.  Pem and Paul; Mylene and Chris are both based in Maryland USA.  Regs and Danny, Mylene and Raffy are both based in Marikina Philippines.  Too bad tsip RapRap was not able to be with us that day.  I and David were still based in Singapore at that time.  We badly missed our other friends: Ma’ann and Mike who are based in Connecticut USA; Cathy and Jon who are based in Papua New Guinea; Ming and Esar who are based in Los Angeles, USA.

Was so tempted to just splash myself in the water

We started out early that day and arrived in Villa Escudero two hours before lunch.  Enjoying our Carabao ride while being serenaded with kundiman songs (old local songs); we headed out to take a walk around the villa.  Buffet lunch was served in the waterfall area.  The water was so niceeeeeee and cool.  It is a great feeling to sit around nature, feel the water on your feet and just enjoy the cuisine and socializing with your best friends.  We all enjoyed the local cuisine though the peanut sauce was not that great.  You just have to be careful in walking as most of the natural stone floor is covered with green moss.

We spent our afternoon soaking in the pool area.  Relaxing and just chit-chatting.  Our last stop was the museum.  Which I think was actually a church before.  They had a lot of different stuff in the museum.  Ranging from old icons of saint, coins, saints, guns, family heirlooms, stuffed animals.  I couldn’t recall all.  It was pretty interesting.

On our way home we grabbed some pizzas for dinner and we were back in the traffic congested city….back to reality!  However this trip was another good and fun memory to keep and cherish!
