Two-three hours drive from
We started out early that day and arrived in Villa Escudero two hours before lunch. Enjoying our Carabao ride while being serenaded with kundiman songs (old local songs); we headed out to take a walk around the villa. Buffet lunch was served in the waterfall area. The water was so niceeeeeee and cool. It is a great feeling to sit around nature, feel the water on your feet and just enjoy the cuisine and socializing with your best friends. We all enjoyed the local cuisine though the peanut sauce was not that great. You just have to be careful in walking as most of the natural stone floor is covered with green moss.
We spent our afternoon soaking in the pool area. Relaxing and just chit-chatting. Our last stop was the museum. Which I think was actually a church before. They had a lot of different stuff in the museum. Ranging from old icons of saint, coins, saints, guns, family heirlooms, stuffed animals. I couldn’t recall all. It was pretty interesting.
On our way home we grabbed some pizzas for dinner and we were back in the traffic congested city….back to reality! However this trip was another good and fun memory to keep and cherish!
