Marching on!
I backed hostel at the midnight that I have no idea what the exact time was and let everyone in the Dorm knew I was drunk.
I went to a college(...still I donnot kno the name...) bar with a band"We fight the world".It's a Gypise style(as they decribed their music) band formed by two guitars, a vocal, a dulcimer(a small one...I'm not sure if its this name...)& a drumer(Africa drummer).
We marched on the street of late night Halifax with music& beer...StrongBow is my best friend...so do those guys'....only one guy didn't pick the beer, he told me last time they messed up the show bcz all of them were drunk, & this time was their largest show ever. I felt a bit terrible as a alcohol offer, even he said it's all right.
While he was speaking,he fished out a bottle&asked me if I want some.
It's Whisky.
Their show was fantastic that night.
BTW...the dulcimer sounds amazing w/ vibrator...seriously...
Heavy Metal Show
I really don't kno there was a "pop explosion" in Halifax before I was there.
heavy metal is my life , bass guita is my heart,(I will go wherever a bassist who can play like Les claypool, I don't care this bassist is he or she or it, if it's a squirrel i can live on the tree:>) so I went there.
i met a cute Japanese girl at hostel kitchen so I invited her& her friends to go there together. It always nice to see Asian faces on the other continent, espacially those cute young girls.
they left after the second band...I need to apologize for bringing those girls to that nosiy messy place....
after the third band I saw a real POGO....it's like bumper cars in the wonderland...a strange boy shouted to me :
A Boy:I can'ta understand anything bt I just like their music!
Me(shouted back):Neither!
Us(hold up the beer):Yeah~~Cheer!
...when people drunk, they R not stupid...bcz they R DRUNK...
that was funny when I found he's an animation student..well...my major is illustration.
Eatting
Eatting is the only activity require to use all six sense except sex.
I guess it's the reason why ppl always tend to do the engorgement after they break their hearts.
anyway I got a great guide maga of Halifax"the best of Halifax", I marked all the food stations metioned there on my free guide map, then I began my food-exploring-tour.
As a crazy poutine fan I must say Aleandra's Pizza is the best of the best, they have the most crispy&fresh chips covered by thick&creamy sauce. ...their piutine made me wanna eat there till die...that's fine since across the street is a cemetery.....
& Costal Cafe's best breakfast sandwich"The Elvis": a buttermilk waffle sandwich,filled with peanut butter,bananas and becon,covered in maple syrup"(it's the describtion from the maga....actually I thought 'Elvis' maybe a deep fried something...)
